Friday’s Mystery Beer : Papaya Oaked Devil’s Millhopper IPA

You’ve waited very patiently for the reveal of this much anticipated mystery beer – so without further ado, Gainesville’s Alligator Brewing is proud to present…

This tricky beverage is a bit similar to our usual Devil’s Millhopper IPA- but for this release we added White Oak and dry-hopped the sucker with Calypso hops, then added a boatload of papaya for a tropical twist. There’s a remarkable synergy here between the Calypso and the Papaya resulting in a punchier, brighter beer all around. Perfect to sip on while you survey the sunrise from the prow of your houseboat. Maybe you’ll  strike up a fast friendship with one of the numerous pink dolphins that keep winking at you as they glide past, but you’re too nervous – so drink up. Why would you want to be friends with a dolphin? Because they’re really really fun to be around. Total party animals. Anyway it’s a moot point because this beer probably won’t last the night. Steer your clipper towards Alligator Brewing right now and get yourself some before the porpoises drink it all!
