This is a very special week here on the farm – we get to drop one new beer every day till the Hogtown Beer fest this saturday. One brand new beer, every day for a week. Ridiculous! Come down to Tall Paul’s Brewhouse and tip a few back – Starting today at 4pm. So now, without further ado, here’s a list of what you can expect, day by day of this ludicrous workweek.
SATURNALIA SOUR BROWN
this batch is a year and a half old – typically released around winter but this time we’re changing it up. Order it on draft, bust out your phrygian cap and revel ancient Greek style. Sacrifice your friends, gamble away your savings, all praise to that wacky old god Saturn and his agricultural bounty! It’s mellowed out a lot on the sour end- still got some tang in the nose – but the body is sleeker and tighter and the flavors have come together rather cohesively.
PROCRASTINATION 100% BRETT PALE ALE
This is the debut of our first pale ale brewed with 100% Brettanomyces fermentation. It fermented out a LOT cleaner than what you’d expect with such a wild, funky yeast. This beast is brewed with Chinook and Crystal hops. Bout time!
CHOCOLATE SNOWBIRD PORTER
Our seasonal porter aged on cocoa nibs. Think about your grandparents and how right they were about everything as you sip this comforting velvety goodness.
British pale ale hopped with Calypso hops and aged with pineapple, mango, and papaya. Day’O!
Hmmm what could this one be? A beer from the future brewed entirely out of space marbles? A Willy Wonka-esque potion that negates gravity? Scorpion flavored?
You’ll just have to stay tuned to find out.
